You’re right. It would have been a good idea to show the program being used to write something funny. But as our narrator says, “I’m not a comedy writer…” We just couldn’t afford Drew Carey for this video. Maybe next time.

Good question… strange and manifold are the ways of search engines. Unless it was someone’s idea of a joke. And yes, that wasn’t really very funny, either. If you really want to write executable programs (.exe files) for Windows, you would use a development tool like C or Visual Basic. Hope that was some help.
