Best writing site for new writers?
I want to start writing articles online as a supplemental income, I don’t expect to make a lot. Which is the best site for ameture writers? I could use some direction from the site and of course I would like to know which one pays well.
I looked at Suite101 and that looks promising. So which are the best ones? (Helium, Associated Content etc) Thanks!
A great site where most of my friends went when they started out, was Lafango.com. They have a great platform to post all of your writing for collaboration and critique.

The best is Ezine Articles. This help you to promote your websites and articles.

Suite 101 probably has the strictest editorial guidelines that I have ever come across. I have published articles on several sites (HubPages, Squidoo, Bukisa, Associated Content, EzineArticles, and GoArticles) with no issues, but ran into some huge editorial issues with Suite 101.
If you mean earning income directly from the article network, HubPages, Squidoo, Bukisa, and Associated Content are the best to start with (in that order).
One thing to keep in mind is that it’s not just writing the article that will get you the income – you have to promote them as well to increase traffic and then earnings. The blog post I added below explains how you can get traffic to your articles, with specific guides for above mentioned sites.
