I’m writing a press release for a new business. It is my biz, can i write a good release without using my name

I don’t like coming up on search engines, any help on how to word it so i don’t need to use my name.
i do NOT want to use my name

It would be best not to use your name. If you are writing the release it will seem less credible. Depending on the business type, there is no reason to use your name. You should focus on the business, it’s services and benefits, location, contact info..etc.

Is charging $1 per 100 words a cheap or expensive price for online article writing? The quality is great.?

im researching on freelancing rates. thanks
wow. can I contact you binky? I have to ask you about something.. thank you.

It depends on the website you are writing for and the area you are writing about. An article offering financial advice will probably be better paid than a piece about a trip to Disney World. These days it is very difficult for freelance writers to make money on the web but even so, $10 for 1000 words is very poor pay. Our magazine would pay $50 and we are only a minor publication for teachers but the article would also appear in print.

Created an account with eHow to make money writing articles, is there a catch to affiliate with google adsense?

I know that becoming affiliated with google, amazon, eBay, etc. is the only way to get paid because they supply the ads that people earn you money, but is there some sort of catch to this? Writing online article to make extra money without having to pay for anything like membership seems a little too easy and too good to be true. Is there anyone on here that is already doing this who knows anything?
Oh ok cool. So it is completely safe to give them my account information so it gets deposited automatically when I earn money?

No catch at all. The way that it works is that other companies pay for a google counterpart service which is called "Ad Words". This service allows them to show up at the top of search results, this is the money that you’re getting, so basically, google is not giving out any money for free.

Google Adsense <–> Google Adwords
they balance each other out.

How do I write a 100% free Press Release?

ABCF is Non-Profit Organization raising money for Child Abuse. We would love if we could raise awareness about a Biker Event "The Katelynn Stinnet Memorial Run" happening in our home town as well as across the US. This is the first time I have attempting to writing a release so any tips are more than welcome! Thank You, WyBikerChick

First you have to clear it through THE O’BAMA…(Hail Fairies, Fools of Grapes, May his name be spaced.) Because he is Now the New IL DUCE and ALL information must be cleared through the O’BAMA Hail Fairies, Fools of Grapes. May his name be spaced.)

How do Isend a press release?

I have a press release written, but im too much of an amateur to know where to send it. Trying to get Bay Area newspapers.

The most important question: is the content of the release really news or is it ad-sy? Why should their readers (viewers, listeners) be interested? What’s in it for them? How would someone benefit from this information? Depending on the nature of the release, your business and what audience you’re trying to reach, it’s going to differ on what reporter you’re contacting.

Reporters get hundreds of news releases every day from PR firms, corporate pros and others, not to mention, the follow-up calls from people asking if the release got through OK. All of this on top of trying to meet a deadline. The last thing you want to do is waste a reporter’s time. If it’s not news and sounds like an advertisement, they’ll toss it in a heartbeat.

It’s usually harder to get something in the larger mainstream media such as the San Francisco Chronicle. Half of the stories usually come from wire stories written elsewhere. Don’t forget that there are weeklies, alternative publications and independent media that are also good targets, if appropriate.

Once you’ve identified the right targets, you’ll need to know how they like to receive information (phone, fax, email). Most prefer fax, since it’s the least invasive, but knowing their preferences goes a long way.

Just remember that media coverage of your release is never guaranteed. If you have a manager that has high expectations, you’ll want to manage them. The only way you can guarantee something to be printed about your company is if you buy an ad.

To locate media outlets in your area, you can always use the Yahoo! directory and look under News/By Region. That’s the most cost-effective way to do it. Online media databases and paid newswires can be expensive.
