How do you get people to visit your blog and good blogging sites?
Want to make people visit a blog and don’t know how. Also can you give me a good blogging site that people visit a lot. Do they visit your blog within the blog site or externally?? Thanks.
Most of the time people find your blog from search engines like yahoo, google, bing etc. You have to optimize your blog with meta tags and they are read from search engines spiders. Its called SEO and you can read more about it online. You can also post your blog on facebook and twitter and other sites like this and you will get some visitors too ![]()
Hope this helps!
Good Luck

You can also try link exchange. Find a good running blog and place its link on your’s, and ask the owner of that to do the same in return.
Most of the time it is accepted.

Although Posting your blog on the social networking sites is a good idea but to raise the traffic immensely you must ensure certain basics. One of the most important things to do is to have a prominent call to action for readers coming to your blog to subscribe to it. To raise your blogs crawling on famous search engines you must design your blog accordingly(SEO).Avoid too many ads and Educate Readers about Your Subscription Methods.
Try adding a ’subscribe to comments’ feature to your blog and Respond to Comments.
Highlight your best content and Offer alternative ways to subscribe like RSS feeds, daily mails and all.
Finally Add a Community Area or Forum and create an engaging about me section.
Hope it will work.
lastly,
You can increase the traffic to your blog by posting ads on some sites. you can earn free money online by clicking on ads and use it either to cashout or to advertise your blog.
It really works and even pays you

There are alot of free ways to advertise your site and I will try to name a few. 1.Make a facebook fan page and invite all your friends to it and make sure the page tells people what the blog is about and gives a link back to it. 2, When you mke a post publish it on your facebook profile page and also on your fan page. 3. Make an article up and submit it to gather.com,squidoo.com,hubpages.com,devhub.com,ezinearticles.com and articlefactory.com with a link back to your blog and that will bring in a little traffic. 4. Make a twiiter account and when you make a post tweet a link to it on twitter.Make sure you also have followers following your tweets to you can do this by searching keywords in your niche like if you have a food blog you can search "food" and then follow all the people that use that word about 20% will follow back.also make sure you put a link to your twitter account on your facebook fan page. 5. Use social bookmarking and news bookmarking sites like stumbleupon.com,digg.com,delicious.com and google bookmarks and add your site to them and your blog posts.6 make a press release saying you have launched your blog on free-press-release.com and this will bring in a little traffic too.7 Go to yahoo answers and answer questions that you know the answer to and put your blog url in the source box like me
an hope nice people will click on it.
As for blogging sites there are many and you can just google "blog directies" but a couple that i know of are blogged.com,blogorama.com,myblogog.com,technorati.com and blogcatalog.com.Out of these blogged.com has brough me the most traffic.
Hope this Helps!!!

[...] Blogging … I don't know if I'm ready for this level of blogging. Chris Pirillo and Ponzi blogged their wedding. Well, I guess technically not *during* the wedding. But their vows and ceremony were posted online, and of course photos. And they are blogging their honeymoon (at least the G-rated parts). Oh, and they read their vows off of tablet PC's. [...]
